Black Anarchy Tofu Robot
Normally, those three words wouldn't really go together, but at My Plastic Heart, they seem to make sense. You see, My Plastic Heart has got their hands on an exclusive, Limited Ed. Black Anarchy Tofu Robot by Frank Kozik for Spicy Brown and will be releasing them at midnight Eastern Time on Halloween. Tofu Robot was designed by Kazuko Shinoka and features five points of articulation for posable fun. There are only 500 of these delicious, fat-free, soy protein treats available, so snap 'em up before they are all eaten*.
*Warning, do not eat Tofu Robot.

Grrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!
New Limited Ed. Asics x Alife Gel Lyte III "Alife are Monsters" kicks will go on sale this Saturday, October 27th, exclusively at Alife BC, LA and NY. Available in both Green Monster [pictured above, left] and Black Lagoon [above, right], both colors feature a split tongue, removable eyeballs, a printed midsole and custom footbeds. Limited quantities will also be available online at www.alifenyc.com. The matching t-shirts [pictured below] will be available in-store only. The kicks will run ya' 2 bills, but the t's are only 40 beans. These are some pretty sick Halloween swag. I can't decide which I like better. The Green Monsters are amazing, bold and bright while the Black Lagoons have a nice toned-down, late-night vibe. I am a big fan of red laces, so I like that aspect of both sets. I also like the laid-back looking eyeballs that contrast the menacing grin printed on the midsole. If I had the money, I would buy two pairs of each. One set to rock this Halloween; the Green Monsters during the day and the Black Lagoons at night, and one set to put on ice for future trick-or-treating.

Trick Or Treat
Secret Base has announced their second Halloween release for the year after the blinking, glow-in-the-dark, Last Legend Pumpkin Brain. It looks to be a glow-in-the-dark multi-character pack that contains all of SB's head, body and arm sculpts: the Skull Brain, Damaged Brain, Pumpkin Brain, Balzac head and bag, Obake Ghost body and both arm sculpt styles [pictured above]. This thing is ridiculous and is only available through SB for Japan orders for ¥7875 and soon (hopefully) through Toy Tokyo for American orders. I don't know about the rest of the world. Anyway, that's all the news for today. Now I have to leave for a wedding in Asheville!

Keeping on the ladies tip, this Friday, October 19th, marks the release of Steff Bomb's Mr. Lertchman plush toy from I Make Monsters & ESC-Toy Ltd. This 10" asparagus monster is made from super velour & comes complete with a butthole and a detachable can of spray paint. There will be a release party for Mr. Lertchman at Jinxed Clothing in Philadelphia on Friday from 7-10pm. There will also be new, handmade toys from I Make Monsters and a Monster Art Show featuring work from Christine Curry, Kevin Edward Herdeman, Richard Kercz, Jude Buffum, Amanda Mello, Michael Bukowski, Greg Labold, Mike Stoneroad, and more. Free booze, food and cupcakes will be provided! There will be a raffle for a Giant Turd Monster during the release party! Hooray!
Ladies First
I have a ton of toys to report on today, but first, a little something for the ladies. Kicks/Hi has apparently got mad product in the building, including a ton of cool stuff for the ladies. First off, they got these hawt women's Converse Metallic All Star Chucks [pictured above]. Metallic is apparently the new black, so if you are planning on being fashion-forward this Fall, pick up something metallic. Personally, I like knives, so nice and shiny... and sharp. Perfect for Halloween. Kicks/Hi also has a wide variety of new women's Nike sneakers in stock, including the Tweed Internationalists and Black Velvet All Courts [pictured below, left to right]. Not as shiny as the Chucks, but still pretty. And finally, a little something to outfit the top half, my favorite half, of the ladies: some t-shirts from Made Me [pictured below]. Also, check out Kicks/Hi's online store here for more product that you can get if you don't live in Hawaii.

New(de) Photos At 20ltd
20ltd, the online store that sells 20 Limited Ed. items at a time, then restocks with new items once the old have been usurped, has acquired several photographs from Bob Carlos Clarke's 2004 exhibit, Love-Dolls Never Die. Unfortunately, people do, and Clarke passed away soon after the exhibition, therefore very few signed and numbered prints from the show are available. 20ltd has several of the photos available for purchase in both large (43 x 56 inches) and small (24 x 36 inches) formats. Many of the large format images are directly from the exhibit and are the only known copies of the images. The smaller format images are numbered out of 100, but in most cases fewer than twelve were actually produced. I am not even going to provide the price ranges for these pieces, because unless you are a serious art collector, don't even bother thinking about buying these. They are that expensive.

You Want It MF?! You Got It!!!
I just got e-mail from Michael over at Wootini, who I have missed getting e-mails from over the last couple of months, letting me know that they will be having a new show going up tonight, Friday, October 12th at 7:00pm. The show is by artists Martina and Frank Russo of MF Gallery in New York City. New York City?! It must be good! The show will run through November 6th. Here's the press release from Wootini:
Martina Secondo Russo and Frank Russo of MF Gallery in Manhattan, NY are bringing down a visual onslaught of art that is sure to horrify the weak and tickle the fancies of the bold. If you're a fan of Zombies, Monsters, GWAR, Metal, Sideshow Freaks or Horror Flicks, know this: these two are the East Coast's masters. They have endlessly and successfully shown some of the best art having anything to do with the pulp-monster universe that your fangs so fiercely crave.Sounds perfect for this time of year, what with Halloween quickly creeping up ("quickly creeping", is that an oxymoron?). "Family" will be providing the deep grooves and there will be treats, as usual. I will be there in my scariest Halloween costume: my own face!!!

Who's The Leader Of The Club That's Made For You And Me?
Erick Scarecrow of Esc-Toy Ltd. fame has just announced the release of a new toy, his latest plush offering, known lovingly as Mousey Micci [pictured above and below]. Mousey Micci is 12-inches tall, comes in three different colorways also known as Super Hi-Tech Mousey Suits that are armed with different abilities, and retails for $24.99 each. The green variant is currently available on the Esc-Toy Ltd. eBay store. Mousey Micci is the only surviving alien from his armada that made it through an asteroid belt on their way to conquer Earth. I like how it has a second set of eyes in the mouth area like a costumed character from an amusement park. Very cute. Those interested in wholesale distribution of Mousey Micci should contact DKE Toys at www.dketoys.com.

"Fuck Censorship And Its Mama" - R. Pryor
Richard Pryor was one of the funniest men ever, after Pontius Pilate, of course, who was a well known practical joker. Cameron wanted a t-shirt with the quote above from an interview Pryor did on the set of Stir Crazy. I couldn't find that shirt, but I did find the shirt above. "Gotta have the money" doesn't have the same ring to it, but at less than $10 from 80's Tees while supplies last, Cameron might just have to make do.

Pulling Tubes
E-mail blah, blah, blah... Tokyoflash blah, blah... new watch blah...
Sorry, I'm a little tired this morning. I stayed up late last night working on a top secret project. More will be revealed on that later, but for now I must keep it secret (I can say that it has something to do with a "new toy" and "design").
Anywho, Tokyoflash has a new watch available in their web store. It is the Kyokusen Digital Tube LED watch [pictured above]. Kyokusen means "curved line" in Japanese. This is another one of those watches that requires an advanced degree in mathematics to decipher. The curved row of bars represent the hours, the outer ring of dots represent five minute intervals and the inner ring of dots represent individual minutes. There is no way to tell a.m. from p.m. and there is no date on the watch, but you won't need either when you are getting laid as much as you will be when people see you wearing this watch. The watch comes in three styles, IP black with blue LED's and a black leather strap, IP black with green LED's and a black leather strap or IP silver with multicolored LED's and a mottled leather strap. I like the green one the best. The Kyokusen will run ya' ¥13,900 or $120.14.

Did Someone Call Me Schnorrer?
Forbidden Planet, one of my favorite online toy stores (and if you are in the UK, it is an actual storefront as well), has just opened their new online urban vinyl shop, Vinyl Splatter. I thought this was the same Forbidden Planet that I visited in New York on the corner of Broadway and 13th Street, but apparently they are not associated. Anyway, while I was surfing around the Vinyl Splatter website I ran into an old friend, Captain Spalding from Rob Zombie's House of 1000 Corpses and The Devil's Rejects. The Captain Spalding latex mask [pictured above] would be perfect for Mac to wear for Halloween. Or any other day of the year for that matter. And at only £35.99 or $73.31 it wouldn't be out of Mac's price range. So, if you are strolling down Franklin Street on Halloween and see Captain Spalding coming at you with a butcher's knife, don't be surprised if it is just Mac coming to kill you.

Papa's Got A Brand New Hat
Alife has got a couple of new Limited Ed. New Era fitted caps in stock. They are available in store and by phone. My favorites are the Oversize Antique 'A' in red [pictured above, $50] and the Stuck Up All-Over in Yellow [pictured below, $60]. I like the red 'cause it matches my blog and I like the yellow 'cuz it reminds me of a Vision Street Wear fanny pack that I used to rock all of my paraphernalia in back in the 80's. I hate the term "fanny pack". It sounds like something an old lady would wear. Which is basically what it became. I'm sure it would have been a lot more popular with the cool kids if it had a cool name like "hip pack" or "stash pack". Anyway, that has nothing to do with Alife's hats. Which are cool and will be rocked by the likes of Mos Def (seen sporting an Alife t-shirt on Real Time with Bill Maher on HBO) and will never be worn by old ladies.
