Richard Pryor was one of the funniest men ever, after Pontius Pilate, of course, who was a well known practical joker. Cameron wanted a t-shirt with the quote above from an interview Pryor did on the set of Stir Crazy. I couldn't find that shirt, but I did find the shirt above. "Gotta have the money" doesn't have the same ring to it, but at less than $10 from 80's Tees while supplies last, Cameron might just have to make do.
