New Uglydolls?
No, Uver Chans [pictured above, left]! What are Uver Chans, you ask. Well, that's a good question. Uver Chans are the mascots of Uverworld, a Japanese band created by Sony Music. I don't read Japanese, so that's about all I can tell you about them. The plush dolls were created by David Horvath, creator of Uglydolls, which they look exactly like. The band itself appeared at first glance to be a cheap Japanese knock-off of the Gorillaz, but they are actually real people, not just the cartoon version that they show on their homepage. You can get the Uver Chans at Ningyoushi. Speaking of Gorillaz, Ningyoushi also has the new Limited Ed. Red Version of Tim Tsui's Bling DAPE [picture above, right]. It was an exclusive to the Taiwan Toy Festival and limited to only 300 pieces. It features a spraycan, chain necklace, cigar, sunglasses, removable jacket, and comes packaged in a cool cloth bag. That's all for now.
