Good News For Video Artists

This post is for everyone I know who uses digital video, which is practically everyone I know. Drew, Mike and Seth should especially pay attention to this one, if they haven't seen it already. I know it's not exactly Limited Ed., but it is really cool. And now, on to the product. Guys, check out the new MCE Quickstream DV:

This handy little device, that I found through I4U Tech News, is a Firewire Digital Video Capture Device. You hook it directly into the firewire port on your digital camera and you can capture video directly to a hard drive instead of using one of those unreliable MiniDV tapes. The drive even comes with a mounting bracket to attach it to virtually any DV camera out there. This thing makes movie-making a thousand times easier. No more spending hours capturing those boring wedding videos onto the computer. No more dropped frames. All your footage is compactly contained in one location. How convenient. Of course, if you still want a tape version of your movie masterpiece or Bret Michaels' video, you can record to MiniDV right alongside the Quickstream DV. Sweet!
