The Little Friends of Printmaking are J W & Melissa Buchanan, a husband-and-wife team of artists & designers based out of Milwaukee, WI. Originally trained as fine art printmakers, their dalliance in silkscreened concert posters quickly turned into a design career. In 2006, they received the Young Guns award from the Art Directors' Club, honoring the world's finest emerging creatives under 30. Their work has been exhibited internationally, and they have been published in the recent books New Masters of Poster Design [Rockport], Two-Faced: The Changing Face of Portaiture [iDN], and Beasts! [Fantagraphics].

A Little Bit Of Hoop Da' Hoop
And a little bit of who of what. Wootini, my favorite local Limited Ed. toy store and gallery, will be hosting the Little Friends of Printmaking's latest exhibit, Little Who of What, starting today, June 8th, and running through July 8th. The opening reception will be held tonight starting at 7pm. There will be refreshments and "Family" will be on hand to lay down some laid-back tracks.
