In memory of
Carlucci Bencivenga (April 14, 1969 - September 3, 2007), the graffiti artist known as ELF MPC from the MPC Crew straight outta' Da Bronx,
Alife has produced a freakin' sick
tribute t-shirt [pictured above]. ELF was an interesting looking cat. Reminds me of my friend
Paul from back in the day, also an artist known for his crazy gear and bright colors. According to Alife,
Carl was an endless stream of ideas and inspirations. He has been an inspiration to us and to the entire neighborhood of the Lower East Side ever since he touched down here, years ago.
All proceeds from the sale of the shirt will go to the Bencivenga family. Check out the man and his work, below.
